We LOVE the park!

Miss Emma would live at the park if she could. I ask her if she wants to go to the park and she runs for the door and away we go. She pretty well runs the whole way there. We're so lucky to have one so close, and we defiantly don't take it for granted. She is too brave. Little turkey will climb up and slide down anything! Its so fun to watch her. She laughs the whole time. Em loves to dance, with both fingers boogieing. :) She hates to have her bum changed, which makes me want her potty trained! She loves baths and to play in the water. She loves horsey rides on our backs and rides on our shoulders. Thinks its funny to turn in circles and get dizzy. loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. likes to draw and color. likes dog dogs. hates to have her hair done. Thinks its funny to be teased. Is a good snuggler and is so lovey. unless of course she's too busy! :) Points and says "What's that" to EVERYTHING! Favorite foods are fruit, corn, chicken nachos, pizza, cheese, candy and junk! Man I can't believe how old/big she is getting. It sure flys!

Merry Christmas!

First off I hope that Santa found everyone and that everyone had a very merry Christmas! Em was way sick thursday and friday throwin up and down (poor thing it was so sad), but then was better Saturday and Sunday. Monday, Christmas Eve, we had a party with the Woods. We ate played games, the kids acted out the nativity and did some talents, it was a blast. Em was just not herself though, she didn't want to play, was way quiet and way clingy to me. I figured she wasn't feeling good but didn't know. We came home and around midnight she threw up a few times and around 3 a.m. down a few times. We were pretty nervous and decided it wasn't worth it to wake up early and go to enterprise like we planned. We just let her sleep in and when she woke up she was happy as could be. She loved all her toys and was excited to play with them. Didn't love the opening part, she just wanted the toy. :) After we opened it all up we headed to Enterprise and opened presents with my family. and then over to open at the Woods. We were all SO SO SPOILED! We are every year! After we came back to my house for Christmas dinner and games. I think Em is finally over being sick, fingers crossed anyways. All Randans family is here and they will be here all week so its fun to see them and hang out. We're enjoying being with family and the break from school!

this and that!

Well I'm a little late and I hardly got any pictures but we had a great thanksgiving. we drove up to Bountiful to my Wallace grandparents house. We had a great dinner then shopped till we dropped. It was a lot of fun but man were we tired by the time we got home. To say the least Em hates to sleep in pack-n-plays. So... she didn't :/ It was really good to see my grandparents. The only picture was of my Grandma with Emma. Emma loved going up and down their stairs and my grandma just sat there and played with her. She is so cute with the kids! Before we went up north Em got her hair cut! It instantly grew her up! I can't believe how big she is getting. She is so much fun, I just love that little stinkers personality! She is 19 months now. She loves nursery, and so do mom and dad, however we just got put in the nursery so we enjoyed a few weeks without crazy wild kids :) We won't be with Em though, our ward is so big we have 3 different nurseries. Em LOVES to dance. Randans taught her to dance in circles pointing her fingers around. Its so funny. She normally dances anytime she hears music, unless of course I want to show someone how cute she is then she just stands as still as a pole and stares! Randan and I will finish this semester soon and we are so glad its done. It was a bit crazy we had had 26 credits between the two of us but we survived. I'm afraid next semester will be a bit worse. :) Hope everyone is doing well and has a very happy holidays!

Swimming!

last weekend was UEA for my sister and my aunt/cousin. My Aunt Tracey and her son Aaron came down from Bountiful. They're moving to Denver, CO soon and we are all pretty bummed. Tracey has always been the funnest aunt! Meag and her family came down and all the kids went swimming at my moms! It was fun! I can not believe what a water baby Emma is! She LOVES it. didn't matter if someone was playing with her, or if she was alone, she was having a blast!! After we had some pizza and hung out and talked. Meag and I ran to Target, and it was so fun. I know sounds silly that Target was so fun. I love living close to Meag, we have so much fun! Not so sure our husbands love it! :) Emma loves Kinlee too, the next day they came over and had dinner at our house and Emma just thinks Kinlee is her own baby doll. We decided it was just payback from Macee thinking Emma was her baby and I'm sure I'll get payback from Kinlee! Phew, I feel like I'm just babbling. time to go :)

Marathon/fall break& a project!

My dad ran the Marathon this year again! It never gets old I love going to it and watching all the runners, especially with my dad running it! What an accomplishment! I say every year that one of these years I'm going to do it, I guess I gotta start running first :) He came in at 3:06, I think it was actually like 3:05:45. Emma loved clapping for all the runners! Good Job Grandpa! We are halfway done with the semester (yay!) and we had a little fall break on the 10th and 11th so we decided to go pine nut pickin! We went more for the experience than for the pine nuts and we had a lot of fun. We got quite a few considering we had a very busy helper with us. She loved it. She had a blast picking the pine nuts out of our bucket and throwing them on the ground, running free up and back on the trail, and sitting in the dirt! Yes this is how her hair looks most days, don't judge :) We have been going to the park lots lately. We are so lucky that we can just walk down the street and we have a great park right there! Emma loves it. That girl is fearless, she goes down all the slides all by her self and loves it! Oh yea how could I forget my latest project! I got the idea from Burlap and Denim http://burlapanddenim.com/2012/09/easy-tutorial-for-giant-chalk-art/ Pretty bold I know. Hers was for an industrial room and mine is for my entry way!! YIKES! I was pretty scared about it all the way through especially with Randan telling me it didn't look good. My mom helped me paint it with homemade chalkboard paint just a side note, if you want to paint a wall with homemade kind you have to use a brush a roller won't work! Then I got to work with the chalk. I'll trade the pumpkin out with the holidays! Randan and I built this cute shelf we saw on Shanty 2 Chic's website http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2011/11/hook-shelf-for-the-entry.html. When I got it all done Randan said "I told you it would look good" he thinks he is so funny. :) (it was kind of hard to get a good picture of it, but you get the idea)

I had to post some pictures of this cute little stinker. She is so funny, she is my daily entertainment. I laugh at her all day long. she LOVES shoes. LOVES outside, she could spend hours playing with this dang hose! She found her belly button and likes to look at everyones, likes to walk and hold moms hand, loves to jump on the air mattress with dad, LOVES to climb up and sit on the kitchen chairs like a big girl, thinks all animals are "dog dogs" (even chickens) likes to play the piano, LOVES to dance, I need to post a video of her dancing, I roll laughing every time she does it and she does it every time she hears music or I tell her to dance. she bounces up and down and then stops and sticks her bum out and sways. I feel like I could post a paragraph every day about this girl she is constantly doing new things! So fun! Randan and I are doing good. we're staying busy with school. we're about half way with the semester!

don't want to forget...

This post is kind of just for me, My mom reminded me the other day that I need to write down somewhere all the silly things Emma does! I think this is the only place I won't loose it so here goes. *She loves to carry things around. anything really. *She has this new obsession with shoes and loves to put them on and walk around, one morning while I was getting ready she was playing in our shoe basket, got Randans church shoes out and starts walking around in them so seriously it was hilarious! *LOVES the swings and anything outside, anytime the front door opens she runs as fast as her little legs will take her. *Is such a good eater, I don't there has been anything that she hasn't liked yet that I've given her, even stuff most kids don't like, avocado, tomatoes, pickles, beets, zucchini etc. Although normally she shoves everything that is on her tray in her mouth at once. *we got rid of the bottle at a year and the binky at I think 13 or 14 months! *downs water like its nobodies business, it throws us off considering water isn't really used for drinking in the Woods house :) *loves to push her stroller around with anything she can find in it, books, cups, and sometimes babies :) *Thinks it so fun to pull stuff out of cupboards. *I put our kitchen towel on the stove handle and any time she sees it she pulls it off, drives me crazy. *loves her little car Grandma & Grandpa Woods got her for her b-day. *She giggles whenever she or anyone else farts. its so funny. *loves to go for horse rides on dad and bounces right on his stomach. *loves to be chased sometimes she runs away and sometimes she just drops to the ground and ducks her head in her legs and laughs. :) *When I'm doing her hair she picks up the water bottle or hair-spray and "brushes her hair" with it like I'm doing. *LOVES to give kisses, mouth open or closed, ya never know! and makes a kissy sound before she gives it. *says mom, dada,dog-dog, nose, ear (and points to it),uh-huh & huh-uh and shakes her head, yea. *loves books and sits on the floor and flips pages. *could care less about TV. *Whenever Randan goes to the bathroom she runs to the closed door and yells "yea" and Randan says "yea" and it continues back and forth till he comes out. :) *likes to sit on the couch like a big girl as far away from you as possible. and in any chair by herself she can get in. She Can get off of the couch by herself. *anytime a fun song comes on she dances and thinks its funny when mom or dad dances. *is a clean freak, hates her hands dirty and if they are she holds them in front of her till they get cleaned. If her food tray is dirty she tries to clean it and anytime she sees anything on the floor she brings it to you even if its the tinniest piece of paper or crumb. *When she is tired and I hold her she lays her little head down and pats/rubs my back like I do to her. *loves to brush her teeth and thinks its funny when we brush ours. *is terrible at church and wants to run around and give everyone her sippy cup and crackers. *talks on her phone, holds it up to her ear and talks as I would then laughs. although she is scared to death when you try to get her to talk to someone on a real phone. *is a cuddle bug and gives the best loves in the whole world. I know I'm leaving a whole bunch off, she is so fun and full of life. she gets more personality every day! There truly is nothing better than being a mom. I feel so blessed to be her mother and nothing makes me happier than that little girl. love u Em!
