I missed it by a day! Emma was nine months yesterday! I can't believe it. I can't believe how big she's getting! Its so fun watching her figure things out and seeing her cute little personality grow.

*Emma will take a step or 2 but no more. Walking is right around the corner and I can't believe it!
*She's started to dance and it is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. she'll walk right up to her activity walker thing, flip the switch and when it plays music start to bounce up and down!
*She "talks" ALL the time. nice and loud for all to hear.
*hates getting her diaper changed or changed into clothes
*crawls so cute with one foot on the floor and one knee on the floor and scoots. (this is new)
*LOVES her mom and dad :)
*has just begun to get a little attitude. she doesn't get what she wants and its the end of the world...
*cuddles so good and always seems to know when mom needs loves.
*is a little climber/diver/etc that girl is fearless.
*Loves to be chased
*doesn't like baths
*Likes to give the best wetest kisses!
*she laughs all the time. thinks just about anything and everything is pretty dang funny.

Weekend with Friends

Last Weekend Taysh and Zack came for the weekend! We had a great time! They got here Saturday morning and we got some lunch, hung out at the beach, and played some games. We ate dinner and then went to the San Diego temple and Downtown SD. Sunday we got ready and went to Sea World. It was a lot of fun and again Randan and I got in free! We ate dinner at a place on the Harbor then went back home and finished the nights with some more games. Monday Randan had to work and Taysh and Zack got ready to head back. We had so much fun and it was great to be able to visit with Taysh! We love having visitors!

Christmas,New Years, Em's 8 months!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know we did! We went to Enterprise on the 23rd. As always we played lots of games, ate yummy food, and had great company! Like I always say we're so lucky to have both our familys in the same place! For Christmas Em wasn't quite sure why we were waking her up. She played with the ribbions and ate some candy cane then was ready to go back to sleep. We sure got spoiled by everyone. It was a blast. on the 28th Randan and I left Emma with Grandma and went Cross-Country skiing! It was great and so pretty. That was the first time I'd done it. It was so fun to be able to get away with Randan we have so much fun together. We sure missed Emmi though :) on the 30th we went to the Temple with Randans parents and then Fred took us on a horse ride for my birthday! It was such a fun day! I've been wanting to go on one for a while! And Emma got to play with Aunt Jess and Kaydee and their kiddos.I know she loved it! For New Years Eve we spent the afternoon with the Woods playing games and eating good food. The night we went to my sisters and played more games with them, my parents, and her mother/father in law! We had such a great time! We left to come home on the 1st to 75 degree weather! I can't wait to see what the new year brings, bring it on!!! :)

Emmi is 7 months today!
*She is SOO... busy! she's got places to go and things to see :)
*She loves to stand and walk along the furniture
*favorite toys are the remote, ribbon spool that ribbon was on, empty bottles, and such things :)
*She still LOVES to be outside
*Likes to go on walks
*Loves the swings, we're lucky to have a playground pretty much in our backyard
*Likes to dance with mom!
*Is getting much better at taking naps
*Is such a good eater
*LOVES her mom and dad, and doesn't like to get too far from them
*Has the cutest little laugh in the whole world
*Is so cuddly, when she's tired
She is the cutest/funnest little girl in the whole world! She already has such a cute personality! She makes us so happy! She learns new things every day, and its so fun to watch!

Thanksgiving!

We had such a good time over Thanksgiving. We went to Enterprise and were able to spend it with both mine and Randans family! Thursday morning Randan went Coyote hunting with the boys, it used to be a tradition in his family so they decided to go! When they got back we went to Newcastle and said hello to all the Woods family. It was great to see everyone. Then we had Thanksgiving dinner with my family. My Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle, and Sister and they're family was there. It was so nice. That night Meag and I drove to St.G and went black friday shoppin. we went to wal-mart and target, went to the St.G house slept a few hours, woke up and went again in the morning and met up with the boys and kiddos. It was a lot of fun and we got some good deals! I hate bein so far from Meag, we always have such a good time together! We were pretty wore out though. Saturday we had Grandma Farnsworth Funeral. She was such an amazing woman and I'm so glad that I had the chance to know her a little bit. It was a great service. After we had a stake dinner with Randans immediate family. Its always such a fun time when we're all together. We played games with my family and that was the end of a good weekend :) Sunday we woke up and drove home! We're glad to be home but can't wait till the next time! There's really no place like home, no matter where it is :)
I have SOO... much to be thankful for. I say that every year but this year is different. Its been quite the year and Im so thankful for all I have. Randan, Emma, our family, friends, church/the gospel, freedom/our country, I could go on and on, but I won't. :) Hope everyones Thanksgiving was as good as mine, I'm sure it was! Love you all!
(I didn't get many pictures with my family, Macee was so cute with her. "hers love me" she'd say. I sure miss that little toad! wish I could take her home with me!
Emma was a bit overwhelmed, she's used to it just being her and mom!
I love that Shelby and Emma are so close in age it was fun to watch them play. Emma had a hard time warming up to everyone but for some reason she loved Maycee L., she was such a good helper during the funeral, kept Emma quiet :) I've said this before but I wished we lived closer so Emma could have all these fun cousins to play with all the time

Tim McGraw Concert

Tim McGraw put on a free concert for the troops on Camp Pendleton. A limited purple heart recipients got access to the VIP and I emailed the lady early enough to get them! It was so cool I left Randan and Emma to get a picture and was 3 rows back from the stage! We had such a good time! Luckily it wasn't too cold and Emma did awesome! we got there at 2:00 and there were some other bands playing, cowboy Troy, Silverados, and a few others, we left and let Emmi take a nap then came back in time to watch Tim McGraw!

3 years!

Randan and I have been married 3 years on the 8th! That day Emma decided to stand up like a big girl and fall on the corner of the TV stand and cut herself. Scared me half to death. gave her a pretty good little cut by her eye, mom just super glued it since she had a doc appointment that day. Everything went great at her appointment. she is 27 3/4 long -97% 17.6lbs- 80%. So Randan and I decided we'd just do something the next day. So the 9th we went to Torry Pines Preserve In San Diego-La Jolla. There's lots of pine trees and hikes and down below is a beautiful beach! So we went on some hikes had a picnic and played a bit on the beach. Emma LOVED it. she is a total outside girl!! We had a blast! I can't believe its been 3 years. We've grown and learned so much together and im so glad I have Randan to do it with! Love you babe!

Emma is 6 months today! I can't believe it. it is going by sooo.... fast. This month Emma has learned so many fun things

*she is sitting up by herself
*she's crawling
*she's just had her first taste of cereal. First time I gave it to her she loved it! Ate it all and opened her mouth for more. Although a lot of it ended up on her. The next few times she wasn't such a fan. we'll see how it goes :)
*she's pulling herself up to things
this makes nap time much much harder. I lay her in her crib and immediately she grabs onto the railing, pulls herself up and looks out the door waiting for me to walk by so I can see what a big girl she is. if I make eye contact with her she just starts smiling and gets so excited. :) little turkey.
*she likes being in the car again. yay... I don't dread going places anymore
*she loves going on walks and being outside
*of all her toys her favorite is... the computer cord. :( ha ha, or the tag on one of her toys. ha
*not a fan of naps. most days its a struggle to get her to take them
*wakes up about once in the night
*still loves her hands. they're almost always in her mouth
*still won't take a pacifier
*she is so smily and happy. she gabbers like crazy and laughs all the time, it doesn't take much to get her to laugh. i love that little girl more and more each day. we defiantly have our hands full and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm so blessed to be her mom. love you em!

My lil girls crawling!! what?

Emma is sitting and crawling! I can't believe it. she's not old enough for that ;) ha ha, how time flys. for the past few weeks she's been trying pretty hard. getting up on her hands and knees buries her head and then flops. the last weeks she moves her legs but couldn't figure her hands out. she'd even push up to her feet with her hands still on the ground and then fall cause she wouldn't move her hands. Yesterday she started moving her hands! It was so fun to watch. she'd crawl and then look at me and smile like she was so proud that she figured it out! She is such a cutie and makes mom and dad so happy! love u Em!
I have some cute pictures of Emma crawling and playing with her cousin Aiden which are so so cute. He just let her climb all over him and he just took it and laughed, so cute! I love that she has fun cousins to play with that are close to her age just wished we lived closer! My internet won't upload them though so I'll have to save them for another day :(

Marathon & 5 months (almost)

Well with Randan having his surgery on the 12th he got 30 days of leave. we knew we were coming for the St.George marathon and thought we come and spend a week. We didn't do much but it was fun to spend some time with family. Friday night before the marathon we stayed the night in St.George and played games the saturday we woke up and went to the finish line. My dads goal was 3:05 but he kept saying he probably wouldn't do it that fast. he just barely missed it. he came in at 3:07. I was so excited for him. Being there inspires me every year. not necessarily to run a marathon but to start running. hopefully this year it'll stick. Congrats dad you did awesome!!!
on a different note tomorrow Emma is 5 months old!! I can't believe it. She has changed so much in the last month.
*She rolls so good
*She reaches for things and switches between hands
*She started scooting.
*Just the other day she was on all 4's. but couldn't figure out how to move she just kept burring her head in the ground
*She laughs more and more every day
*We've had a rough patch with sleeping we tried to let her cry it out and it didn't work she is way too stubborn. so after 6 days of it we gave up and now she wakes up about once a night sometimes twice, which isn't too bad.
*She is such a snuggle bug. I love this! although she won't let you rock her to sleep, silly girl.

4 months and a visit!

Emmi is 4 months!! She's growing, learning, and changing soo... much!
*She loves to stand on your lap (she thinks she's pretty strong)
*She LOVES the beach. seems like she never fusses when we're there
*her little sleeping pattern has changed quite a bit. each night when I put her down my fingers are crossed. sometimes she wakes up once and sometimes every 2 hours.
*She smiles/laughs all the time
*She hates to be held like a baby
*likes her stroller
*talks and makes motor boat noises
*Rolls both ways
*grabs her toesies
*wears 6 month clothes
*Still loves everything to go in her mouth and normally always has her fingers in there :/
*has her parents wrapped around her finger already!

Also for Labor day weekend my parents, sister and her two kids came and visited! We had a Blast and we're so glad they came. We spent most our time at the beach which was so fun for everyone. The waves we're the biggest we'd ever seen. It was a blast. we spent a day at the swap meet, ate some good food both at Joes Crab Shack and at Randan and my favorite, Rockin Baja Coastal Cantina. I was so glad that Emma got to spend some time with them, we loved the company!

4 years done, 4 to go??

Well I have to do a little brag post about Randan. Today he's been in the Marine Corps for 4 years! Its so crazy to me. what a crazy 4 years its been. I missed the whole boot camp phase but since he got back from boot camp we've been together. He has worked so hard and gone to so many schools not to mention gotten high shooter and been at the top of the class in most of them. he's deployed twice, once on a MEU for 8 months. and the second one to Afghanistan where he got shot 2 months into it. he's been in the sniper platoon for I think 3 years maybe just 2 I'm not sure and has loved it! He really enjoys his job and what he does, which makes it all worth it. He would be getting out today but with being shot he'll have to stay in at least until his leg is completely healed which who knows how long that'll be, he's going in for another surgery on sept. 12th. he's even contemplating signing on for another 4 years but we'll just see. one day at a time :) I'm so proud of Randan and all that he's accomplished in his 4 years in the Marine Corps. He's such a great Marine, husband and daddy! don't know what we'd do without him!

3 months and a move!

another month gone!
Emma is talking up a storm, she sits in her swing and gabbers at her bird mobil, so cute :)
Smiles like crazy
Giggles the cutest little giggle that gets me every time
puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, i try to giver her a toy to play with and it goes straight to her mouth
is a bit like her momma, likes attention and entertainment 24/7 :/
still sleeps so good
and still is not to fond of her car seat. hopefully now she'll spend less time in it!
she's startin to get in the crawlin mood. okay prob not but she'll push up on her elbows and stick her cute lil bum in the air. mostly just when she's mad. :)

and, we moved AGAIN! ha ha. The military wont let Randan out of the Marine Cops until his leg is completely healed and his doc told him it'd be a while. so we decided we'd been apart long enough and traveled the roads too much. so we put our house up for rent and within 2 days had renters.(kind of bitter sweet) so 2 weeks later and here we are, back in California. we decided to live on base this time so we're in Oceanside, CA. Its fun to be back and nice to be out of that crazy St.George heat! I'm excited to live here again and let Emmi experience the beautiful beach! my mom, meag(sister), and reece (meags husband) came to Cali and helped us move it was fun having them here and we were so grateful for their help! We'll miss you all! Come visit ;)

Emma is 2 months old! oh my goodness, its flying by! What in the world did we ever do without the cute lil stinker!! We love u Emma!

*She is so... strong. holds her little head up like such a big girl!

*went on her 1st camping trip and was such a lil trooper
*Is sleepin the night, most nights anyways
*loves to hold her little rattle
*sucks anything and everything (hands, arms, clothes, car-seat straps etc.)

okay so she was 23" in the 65% and 12 lbs 13 oz. in the 85% :) lil turkey's growin!

4th of July Weekend!

for the 4th of July weekend Randan I and miss Emma went Camping. we got there Friday night around 1:00 and looked for a camping spot near the twin lakes in Bridgeport CA. it was packed!! after looking for 2 hours we gave up and slept the night in the truck. Saturday morning we found a perfect spot inbetween Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. It was perfect!! so we set up camp and went to Sonora Pass. oh my goodness it was beautiful. The next day we went to Yosemite National Park. There were waterfalls EVERYWHERE! for sure one of the prettiest places I've been. and the next day we spent the day at Lake Tahoe. We had an absolute blast. Tahoe was having fireworks over the lake that we were so so excited for but they weren't until 9:45 and we were an hour away from our camp so we decided to just head back. kind of a bummer but we still had a blast!
The 4th of july is such a special holiday to me. for sure a day to be celebrated! it used to just be a fun day of fireworks and BBQ's but with Randan being in the Military it really makes me appreciate what it celebrates, which I'm so thankful for! its also the day Randan proposed (just a side-note :) I'm so thankful to all those in the service and to those who have been in the past! I'm thankful for all the freedoms I have and this wonderful country we have to live in! Thanks hun for all you do! hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!

update on the Woods

So the 11th was the Marine Corps Ball. its normally on November 10th for the Marine Corps Birthday but since 3/5 was gone they did it in June. We left Emma with my parents and drove to Vegas. It was Randan and Mines first ball in 4 years. Every year Randans been doing some kind of training where he hasn't been able to go. We weren't there long we just went for the ceremony and dinner and then left. we were anxious to get back to Emma. who was an angle so my parents say.
on the 12th Randan I and Emma headed for California. Randan has a friend who offered their spare room in their house. they are so nice. they have a 20 month old a 6 month old and a dog and still were more then happy to have us. Emma and I have LOVED being in the same state as Randan. although it is pretty hard living with other people with Emma so who knows how long it'll last. But on the 18th we went to Sea World! I have never been. And because Randan's active Military we all got in Free! we had a blast. We didn't ride any of the rides but we walked around and went to the shows. Emma was a doll, pretty much slept the whole time. and when she woke up and started fussin we were ready to leave anyways!
So thats that! Just a little update! hope you're all doing well! :)

Emmas a month already!!

oh my goodness my baby girls a month old, and a few days :) I can't believe how time flys. and look at me bein a mom doing my monthly posts about my babe :) crazy
So many things that both Emma and I are learning! (poor thing has to be my lil ginny pig) so many firsts!
-She is SO strong she'll hold her little head up squeeze fingers and push with her lil legs.
-She didn't like pacifiers for a long time until we found the one she liked, now shes quite fond of it!
-She had her first bath and didn't quite know what to think of it, everytime. she just kinda sat there. ha ha until I took her out.....
-She hates being cold
-She LOVES to sleep on her tummy. I know they aren't supposed to but i figure if its gone back and forth between sleep on tummy no sleep on back, no sleep on side... it doesn't matter a whole lot. however bein a first time mom I am pretty paranoid, Randan gets annoyed that I have to check on her a million times a night. ha ha
-She LOVES to eat. oh my goodness. (I could do a whole post on this, but I'll leave it at that ha)
-She loves her carseat, and rides so good in the car. we even took our first trip to SLC, with much help from my amazing sister and she did SO good!
-She really is such a good baby! My family keeps telling me its not fair I have such a good one. (i was.....not so good ha ha)
-She is 21 3/4 long in the 75%, and 10 lbs 15 oz in the 93% ! Such a lil chunk! ha!

I can't believe the little sweetheart is ours, we're extremely blessed! Randan left on the 31st and we're missing him so much. Its so fun to see him with Emma. He already is such a good daddy and I'm so thankful he's mine. We're still working on chasing after him :)

-i have to add, today 5/6 Emma rolled first from her tummy to back and then from her back to her tummy! So It looks like it doesn't matter a whole lot which way I put her. told u she was strong :) ha ha girls determined and gonna do what she wants. (wonder where she gets that) :)

Sand Hallow/Emmas Blessing!

Saturday we got together with all Randans family and went to Sand Hallow! The weather was really nice minus the wind! Emma did really well the wind didn't even bother her! We had a great time. played in the water, got a nice farmers "tan" burn, ate a good lunch and had great company! Its so fun when we're all together!
We decided to bless Emma Sunday 5/29 since Randan has to go back tomorrow and we weren't sure which weekends he'd be back. It was so nice, Randan did such a great job! I'm so thankful that he holds the Priesthood and was able to bless Emma. Its been wonderful having Randan home and Em and I are not excited about him leaving. We might just have to chase after him :)

She's here!!

I came home Sunday night from California and and Monday I had a doc appointment. My due date was the 6th, however I wasn't progressing and my blood pressure was up a bit so doc said he didn't feel comfortable waiting till the 6th and asked how fast Randan could get here. I called him and he got things worked out so he left monday night. We scheduled the c-section for Tuesday May 3rd! we went in at 5:00 a.m had my spinal at 6:30, started the c-section at 7:00 and precious Emma Kay Woods was born at 7:08! she weighed 9 lbs 14 oz and was 20 1/2 long, with lots of dark hair! Everything went so smoothly. Emma was healthy as could be! Doc said it was a good thing we did the c-section, besides being big she was way way high (was no surprise to me, I have felt her in my ribs the past 2 months ha ha) we had to spend 2 nights at the hospital but since being home were all doing so good. What an amazing thing it is being a momma and just in time for mothers day! She is so fun. It couldn't have worked out better, 3/5 gets 30 days of post deployment leave so Randan will get to be home the whole month of May!

SFW banquet

What a great weekend we had! at the beginning of the week a guy from my ward knocked on my door and said that the SFW was having a banquet which he was a chairman for and they wanted to honor Randan at it. He told me a little bit about it and what was going on. He wanted to keep it a secret from Randan, so I told Randan as little as possible as I could to get him here and in his dress blues. so Saturday we got there at 5:30 Randan was so so nervous of what was going on. we ate a great dinner and then they had a slide show of this amazing "hunt for heros" program that they put on. They send Military Heros on this amazing hunt on the northern Canada border just south or the Arctic. I sent some pictures to the guy in my ward and he put together a slide show of Randan and just told about him and his hunting/military experience. they gave Randan an awesome gun and then called his dad up to join him and said they were sending both Randan and Fred on this all exclusive 12 day hunt, the one on the northern Canada border south of the Arctic!!! Wow!!! are people really that generous??? AMAZING is all I can say! then as the night went on they had a auction and a drawing and Randan won another gun! and to top the night off Grandpa won a safe and 4 guns! ha ha, what a cool night!
I don't know if its the pregnancy hormones or what but every time I think of it i just about bawl! Really makes me realize how good people are. Randan has earned and deserves every bit of it but its so so neat that people who aren't his wife think so too! I'm so proud of Randan! He's been on such a high and probably will be for a while! I have to post some pictures, this was the first time I've ever seen Randan in his blues, and man did he look good!! ;)

Emma's crib

so we got a crib from Randan's sisters! we were so excited that we wouldn't have to purchase one. I had my bedding for Emma's room all picked out and talked Randan into sanding and painting it black with me. So we did and it looked great! but Randan complained about the cost of my bedding, so.... I found a new one.However, It wouldn't look good with black of course so we had to paint it white! ha ha! Randan wasn't such a good sport about painting it a second time and from black to white! In fact he told me I could get the more expensive bedding, but I liked the cheaper one better! ha! so he helped me paint it white! what a good man I have! He's so good to put up with me! we got it all painted and the bedding came and I love it! Thanks Jess and Kaydee for the Crib!! little by little we're getting Miss Emma's room put together! I'm getting quite anxious for this sweet little girl to get here, we have about 8 more weeks!
An update on us, I'm still working and getting quite large! Randan headed back to California and will have physical therapy three days a week at least until March 31st then who knows whats next for him. We're doing great tho! :)

this and that!

Well first off, Randan is doing great! at his doc appointment the doc was very pleased with how everything was healing up. he now can put 40 lbs on it! Randan feels great and his only complaint is that he can't do enough. he hates having people wait on him and normally find a way to do it himself before asking for help. we got to spend the last 30 days doing nothing but being together and hanging out with family, it was amazing! The holidays couldn't have been better having him home! I love that man and am so thankful to have him home and well!! He now is back in California and will more than likely be there till he is out of the Marines in august. so, there will be a lot of back and forth, back to our dating days!
I'm a workin girl again! Today was my first day back at Richens Eye Center. I love working there and its kinda fun to be back. I went in to get a letter of recommendation and they offered me a job. so I took it, at least for a little while until EMMA is born. yes thats right we chose a name! It was in my top 3 and Randan LOVED it! I love that this little girl of ours finally has a name and we can stop calling her "her" or "baby" we're still working on the middle name tho! I think the middle name is tougher than the first name! Everything is going great so far. in the ultrasounds she's such a wiggle worm and its fun to start feeling her move more. not so fun that most my shirts only fit to my belly button and my feet are starting to disappear! ha ha. Randan's wonderful sisters gave us a crib that we had fun sanding and painting together, and the bedding is on its way, its so fun getting everything ready. I can't believe how fast its all happening!

???Boy or Girl???

ITS A GIRL!!!
Randan and my mom have been convinced its a boy, I kept telling them it was a girl. ( just to go against what they said, not cause i have this great mothers intuition that some moms have ha ha)
Randan and i couldn't be happier! It made it so much more real! Crazy that that sweet beautiful little girl is in my belly!! :) Now the naming game begins and I can quit calling her "baby" ha ha!!

Update on Randan

Well I'm sure most of you have heard that Randan was shot in the leg in Afghanistan. I thought I'd give a little update. He was shot by enemy gun fire on November 21 through the femur. He called late that night and told me he was shot in the leg and they were taking him to the hospital in Afghanistan and then the phone went dead. ha ha, what a long night. the next morning a Gunny Sgt. called and told me that he was stable. he was transferred to a different hospital in Afghanistan then to Germany then to Maryland then to northern California and finally on to San Diego where Fred, Fran, and myself met him there! He had some minor surgeries where they would clean the wounds out and then on December 3rd he had the big one. They put a plate in there that went pretty much from his hip to his knee. He was in a lot of pain after but thats expected, the Doctor was very happy with how things turned out. He said that after recovery Randan would have 80%-90% use of his leg. It'll be about 6 months before he's walking on it without crutches. Today the 9th Randan was released to a wounded warrior battalion and will be there till the 16th when he'll see the Doctor for his f/u appointment. If all goes well he'll get to come home for about 30 days! I am so proud of Randan, I can't imagine what he's been through, and through it all he's had the best attitude!
This has been such a roller coaster ride. As much as its made me realize how bad the world is, its made me realize how good it is as well. Randan and I have had SO much support. Thank you all for your thoughts and pryers, it means so much! There has been so many visitors, people donating stuff, people bringing in dinner and treats, offering their home for the holidays, and their phone numbers for a friend. People's generosity truly amazes me. Randan and I feel extremely blessed. Things could be so so much worse, and are for so many men. Things are rough over there, please keep all those strong, brave, wonderful, selfless men in your prayers!

Update on the Mister!!

Randans been gone a little over a month now! Boy has it been a long month! I got a call from him last week! He sounded wonderful. Things are pretty crazy/scary over there and even still he was positive about it all. (thats my husband for ya though!) from the sounds of it he pretty much is just a mountain man! ha ha! they eat MRE's and cook what food gets sent to them from family over a fire. He told me all excited that his best meal has been Bear Creek Potato soup that I sent him and they added Velveta Cheese to it and something else I can't remember (I wanted to gag when he told me) ha ha! He's been a month now without a shower and said it doesn't look like he'll be getting one anytime soon (gonna have to hose him off when he gets home ha ha) but is excited that he doesn't have to shave much ha ha! To say the least he said the people are very different (I probably shouldn't say much about this, and I wasn't told much about it either) I think there weather is a lot like ours, he said its been hot but now is cooling off and it gets pretty cold at night. He told me he's been taking pictures but has no way to get them to me, (I'll have to share when he gets home!) 3/5 is doing a great job over there, we get letters from the Commanding Officer every so often and he says he couldn't be prouder of them, that they're doing what they were sent to do and they're doing a great job of it! Randan said he appreciates all the prayers and support from friends and family and that it is definitely felt, to keep them coming!
I sure do miss that man and life is so much different without him, but I am SO SO proud of him! What great men we have over there!
Again, thank you, thank you so much for all your love and support during this time. It means the world to me. I don't know what I'd do without friends and family! Love you all!

Baby Woods!!

About the same time Randan Comes home so will Baby Woods!! I'm Prego!! Randan and I found out just a few weeks before Randan left for Afghanistan. Randan was so excited, it was so cute he wanted to tell everyone! but we just told the parents and decided to wait a while! I'm now 12 weeks and due May 6th 2011!!! we couldn't be more excited! Keep your fingers crossed that daddy comes home before baby does!!

well this post is just me venting a bit! Randan and I got to enjoy one more weekend with each other. We didn't do anything but at this point time is so valuable and just being with one another is wonderful! I was planning on taking Randan back Saturday and coming back Sunday but Randans wonderful Father offered to take him Sunday so we could have some more time with one another Saturday and Randan took him up on it! I am so grateful for Randans family and my family we couldn't be blessed with two greater set of parents. I am so thankful for the love and all the support that we'll have while were separated from each other. Its gonna be a rough few months but I know that Randan will be protected and that we bot have so much support!
I'm so thankful for Randan and for all those who sacrifice so much for our country. He has a wonderful platoon and I'm so thankful for them and I know that they'll look after each other! I didn't realized until I married Randan how un-free our countries freedom really is! I hope Randan knows how much support he really has and that I love him dearly and look forward to these 7 months being over!

Pre-Deployment Leave

Its that time again! Randan got 2 weeks off for pre-deployment leave. Randans WONDERFUL parents came down the week before we came and helped pack us up and move us back to Utah (yay!!!) What a blessing family is in our life, we have the greatest! I still had a few days left of summer semester so i finished that up and we came that weekend. We've been busy getting moved and doing stuff with our house but in the mist of it we planned a trip to Mt. Wheeler with Lar and Chelsey (Randan's brother and our sister in law) We had such a great time. we got there Friday afternoon and got back sunday evening. We hiked to the lakes and to the glaciers. We even took trash bags and slid down them, it was so fun! I thought it was pretty dang cool that there were glaciers there in the middle of August! (that was my first time being there) we talked, ate a ton, and played plenty of cards! It was pretty chilly we pretty much had a camp fire goin the whole time but it still was a blast thanks guys! The rest of the two weeks we just hung out, spent time with family, had a woods family reunion, went to the cornfest, played cards, and relaxed. It was wonderful. Randan had to go back to California but they aren't deploying for a few weeks so we'll see each other on the weekends till he leaves!!

Well... this past week I went to Utah to find us a house. After deployment Randan's 4 years will be up and he's decided to get out. so we decided to find a house and move back to Utah! We decided there's no point in me staying in Cali when we would move after he got out so we're just getting a jump start on it! I l looked and looked with my realtor but there just wasn't much out there which was a surprise to me. And it ended up being a better deal for us to just build. So I picked our lot out in Washington Fields and all thats left is for them to build it and us to move in!! Its a big scary having it go up while we are in California, so my family will have to check on it for me! ;) Its pretty scary/stressful and very exciting! We have loved living in California and I'm so glad we got the opportunity to do so I know at times I will miss it, but we've both missed Utah and all our family! It works out perfect of when we will be moving. Randan's pre-deployment leave, my last day of summer semester, and when our apartment lease is up is all on August 12th! Its going to be pretty crazy but keep your fingers crossed that it all works out! ;) Here are some pictures of our lot, I know its just a big dirt pad and probably not exciting to you but I have to share anyways!
As for Randan he leaves to 29 palms for training July 5th- August 10th ish? he'll have his pre-deployment leave from August 12- August 29th. and then will deploy sometime shortly after that to Afghanistan. I think this one is actually going to be harder than the last for a few reasons, but I try not to think about it! I know I have wonderful family on both sides and great friends to put up with me which I am so grateful for! and I know Randan will be looked after! the pic of the playground/pavilion is in our subdivision. Its pretty cute little playground, pavilion, bball courts, and grass park! (sorry for such the long post)

Since Randan won't be home for Christmas we celebrated a bit early and bought each other mountain bikes!! Something we could both enjoy together before he left! We went for our first ride and it was a blast! We found a place that has a bunch of bike trails and its really pretty!! at the end of one trail there was even a cave! We rode for about 4 hours and i was done! But we defiantly want to go back there, there were still lots of trails there we didn't go on! Here are some pictures from our ride. I know, I look like death. out of shape+warm weather+riding for 4 hours = sweaty, messy hair, and no makeup! so excuse that and enjoy! Love and miss you all!

these pictures of moby were taken after a walk on a pretty warm day! It was hilarious. we got back and he wouldn't leave the kitchen floor (cuz its cooler) he drank all his water and then just rolled all over the floor trying to keep cool. Randan and I were laughin at him for a good 20 min. ha ha. I can't believe how big he's gettin! I've already loosened his collar 4 notches! He's such a good puppy (most the time) and I'm so glad we have him
a little bit else of whats been goin on. I'm just finishing up my classes. I had my lab final today (5/11) then my last day of photo class is tomorrow then lecture final is 5/18! Then I'll have a month off (what to do what to do) and my summer class will start July 6th! I'm taking Chemistry and it will be mon-thurs from 9:30-2!
Randan's just been busy busy busy with all his courses that they have him in! He's gotten high shooter in 2 or 3 of them which is amazing! He's gone quite a bit but what else could we expect! He'll be gone for a month then home for 15 days then they deploy! how time flys, feels like he just got home! however, things could and more than likely will change a million times before it happens! I'm so proud of him for what he's doing and for how well he does it! being a marine wife i don't say thank you enough to all the men and women in the Military! They put in a lot of hard work and a lot of hours all to fight for our country! Its pretty amazing!
The other day we had a BBQ with a lot of the people/couples in randans sniper platoon! It was really fun and really good to get to know all the wives! We're going to continue to get together when the guys are gone! Its great having such a fun/supportive/great group of wives, and i am so thankful for them even tho i just met them!
so thats whats up lately! We miss you all and hope you're doing well!

8 Weeks!!

Well today was Mobys first vet visit! He had a checkup and his first set of vaccines! I can't believe how fast he's grown, doc said he's gonna be a big dog! ha, oh boy! He's such a good little puppy and so much fun! He does so good at nights too he actually likes his crate! he loves his chew rope, raw hide bone, and Randan's shoes ha ha! His favorite place to sleep is on Randans shoes (Randan gets pretty mad ha ha ) he hates the vacuum and riding in the car! Potty trainings comin along good hes started going to the door even when he has to go! Smart puppy! I can't wait tell he's had all his vaccinations so i can take him to the park and stuff!

no no i'm not prego! we got a puppy!!! and he is sooo....... dang stinkin cute!! My sister's lab had puppies and they just turned 6 weeks so friday night we went and got him! we got a golden one and his name is Moby! I've always wanted a yellow lab and Randan cracked. I couldn't believe it! one day (after talkin to his dad) he came home and said "I think we should get the puppy!! and our secret but I think Randan's more excited than i am about him! ha ha! He's been such a good puppy rode so well back to cali, and has been wonderful except at nights he's a little bit of a pain but what do you expect from a puppy right?? haha. hopefully we don't have a Marly dog on our hands (you know what I'm talking about if you've seen Marly and me) ha! I'm sure you'll hear all about our lil adventure with moby!! ha! (Thanks again meag and reece, we love him!!!) here's some pictures of the cute lil guy!!

okay, so i'll probably get in big trouble for this but its too funny not to post. well funny to me anyways! ha
So Randan's Sniper Platoon has this thing with "lets see what we can get away with, with having long hair"! So they have to get it cut on the sides but they leave the top ridiculously long. So that being said, Randan is pretty proud of how long his hair is getting.
If you know Randan about the only time he does his hair is for church, but the other day I walk into the bathroom and caught Randan combing his hair, oh so serious! It took a few minutes before he knew i was there but I couldn't keep from laughing. Since then he's been wearing his hair in this wonderful, thick, fluffy, not quite, but almost a combover! He thinks its pretty sexy! he cracks me up! I guess we'll let him keep thinking that! ha ha...

Well Randan made it home from mountain sniper and bridgeport cold weather training alive!! He's glad to be home! In his Mountain Sniper course 8 started and 4 finished. One night they dug a 7 foot hole and thats where they slept waking up for an hour every 3 hours to make sure it didn't cave in. the rest the nights they slept on top of the snow. Randan said the night in the snow cave was his warmest night. Randan got high shooter in Mountain Sniper which is quite the accomplishment! He's Amazing!
As for me i've been plugin away at school. I'm taking Anatomy and a black and white film photography class. Anatomy is keeping me plenty busy, but I love both my classes! I actually look forward to going to school!
we've had 2 long weekends since Randan's been home, This weekend has been beautiful and we've been enjoying California weather, hangin out by the pool!
Kindof a boring post but I just had to update! Randan said he took some pretty cool pictures up there but he doesn't have them so i'll have to post them later!

Randans been gone for 2 weeks and has 3 more to go so my mom came down and spent the weekend with me! It was so good to have her here and I am so so lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful mom. Mom and I(and sadie) always have a good time together! Even when we don't do anything there's always lots of laughter and good times! We hung out at the beach attempted painting my apt but then realized we didn't have a ladder ha, and spent a whole day at the Orange County Swap Meet! It was so fun, and just what I needed! Thanks so much mom for coming!

Randan and I had a wonderful but interesting christmas break! Randan had 15 days for vacation and we spent it all in Enterprise! We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house and then had Christmas again the day after at the Woods! Randan and I are so spoiled. Both our families were way too generous!! It was so wonderful and fun tho! It was so fun to see all our nieces and nephews get so excited about Christmas and Santa! On the 28th Randan and I decided to go on a date. We were on our way home we got to dammron Valley and heard clunk clunk clunk.. so we pulled over and to make a long story short eventually the car wouldn't start, and the engine was shot! =( So for my birthday the next day we went car shopping! I was pretty bummed about it and feeling a bit sorry for myself when i realized how truely lucky and blessed we were. Things could've been a lot worse and I was bummed about getting a new car, pretty lame =) after shopping all day we got a 2006 Honda Accord. My family met us in St.George and we went to the Brick oven for din din! We came back to Cali on the 1st to 80 degree weather. How nice. =) It sure was wonderful to be in Enterprise and with family for the holidays! Thanks everyone for putting up with us for so long, we had a great time!
Now back to reality, on the 4th Randan goes to Bridgeport for Mountain Sniper. Bridgeport is near Lake Tahoe so he'll be in the freezing cold with lots of snow! He'll be there till the 12th of February. Luckily I start school on January 11th, so that should help keep me busy!!

Sniper School Graduation!!

It all began October 6th, and he's finally done! Today I got to go to his graduation! It was so neat to be at, and I am so so proud of Randan! My husbands officially a Scout Sniper! He's had a long hard 2.5 months! goin to work at 3:30a.m. and coming home around 8:00p.m. He did a lot of shooting,running, hiking, stalking, observations, missions, and a lot of not sleeping. and much much more that i'm missing. To say the least its one of the hardest schools and Randan flew through it! He was at the top of his class in everything they did! Good job babe, I'm so proud of you!

Thanksgiving!

Randan and I had the best Thanksgiving weekend. I had to work wednesday from 4-9:30 and then we headed out to Bountiful it was about a 10 hour drive. we got there and in a few hours we had thanksgiving dinner it was so yummy. then dad, meag, reece, randan, and i went to a jazz game. the next morning we woke up early and went shoppin. It was so fun and i got almost all my christmas shopping done! the next day we went to temple square, it was so beautiful with all the christmas lights! then we went to Trolley square and ate at the spaghetti factory! the next day we woke up and headed out only this time with the traffic and all it ended up being about a 14 hour drive!! It was totally worth it though! We had such a good time and it was so fun to be with family! I hate being so far away from all our family! I have so much to be thankful for!

WARNING: MUSHINESS!!!
holy moly! I can't believe its been a year. =) it really only feels like 3 months, since thats what we've been together but those three months have been wonderful! We're just honeymoonin right now!
For our anniversary we went Campin on the beach! It was perfect! We set up our little camp and then played on the beach,the water was freezing!! when the sun went down we started a fire and roasted hot dogs and s'mores! To top the night off we played yahtzee till it was time for bed! it was so fun to go to sleep hearin those huge waves! I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THE BEACH!!! We had so much fun and it was such a cheap date! Can't do that very easy in Cali! We're defiantly planning on doing it more often!
I can't wait to see whats ahead for our wonderful life and there's no one else I'd rather experience it with! I love you babe!!!

The past few weeks have been pretty crazy, more for randan than me. He started Sniper School three weeks ago. He leaves around 4 in the morning and normally gets home around nine. we've had one all nighter and a couple days that were earlier, around six or seven. They're workin him to death but he's doin great! I'm so proud of him. Hes done December 15th! So he's almost half way there!!
I got a job at a Medical Billing company. Its way different from anything I've ever done I've never really had a desk/office job but I'm learning a lot and am really enjoying it.
Randan and I haven't seen much of each other so this saturday he asked me out on a date. In Laguna Beach there's this street filled with art shops so we went and looked at all the art. Not really what we're into but we had so much fun. Its amazing how talented people are. It was beautiful! then we went to Avillas for dinner. its a really good Mexican place with a fun atmosphere. Its right off the beach and you eat outside and they have fires everywhere. We had a great time!! So thats whats been goin on the past few weeks!!

Randan has had the past 2 weeks off for post deployment leave so we came to Utah and spent the past weeks with family. We have had a blast. We shot guns, spotlighted, went on long 4 wheeler rides, lots of bumpy rides in the Ford, a little babysittin/playin, had dinner with friends, and played lots and lots of Rook! On our first weekend our brother in law roger took a bunch of us on a "hike" that wasn't really a hike. ha ha. It was so much fun. It had 3 repels each one ending in the coldest water i have ever been in. I loved it! then Jess had a yummy dinner waiting for us when we got back. Thanks for taking us roger and for being so patient its something we'll always remember. the next weekend we went camping on Pine Valley with the Woods. I haven't been camping in a while and it was so fun. the next morning Jess and Roger and our cute nieces and nephew came up and met us for one last game of Rook! We've had a blast thanks everyone for entertaining us. Now back to Cali and real life starts. Findin a job and starting school. Randan starts Sniper School October 6th and will be crazy busy the next few months. we're excited for it all to begin. Well miss you all. Keep your blogs updated ;) love ya!

HE'S HOME!

HE'S HOME, HE'S HOME, HE'S HOME!!!! August 23rd Randan called around 2:00 p.m. and said they we're in Alaska! He then called around 9:30 when they got off the plane he said they'd be to the base around 10 they had to ride a bus to the base. so I hurried there. I wasn't real sure where to go but finally saw a fence lined with posters and bleachers. They didn't get there till 11:30 oh it was so wonderful to finally see him after 8 long long long months and its wonderful having him home! We're doing great! Randan loves being home although he's having a hard time adjusting to the time change! He can't wait to see all his family he sure has missed everyone! Thank you thank you for all your love and support it means so much to the both of us and sure did make this deployment much easier!

Movin!

So heres all the details on my move! Dad me and my brother in law reece got the uhaul loaded and the next morning dad and I left at 6 and headed for Cali. It was a pretty smooth ride just a few things, dad got on a toll road ,and one road i needed to get on was closed but nothing too serious. hope ya don't get a ticket dad! we got to my appartment around 2, signed the papers and started unloading. I now know why you don't see many female movers. bedroom sets and couches up 2 flights of stairs with just me and my dad wasn't a whole lot of fun. it was about 4 and we had all the boxes and the uhaul completely empty. we were looking at the fridge and stackable washer/dryer knowing there was no way we were going to get them up those dang stairs. when just then 2 missionaries were ridin around on their bikes. we stoped them and talked to them. they were both from the Salt Lake area. they asked if we needed help, poor guys i bet they thought carry a few boxes not lift a washer/dryer up stairs. It took all 4 of us to get it in. we got it in its tight little spot and realized we didn't have it hooked up we weren't about to squirm it back out so they had me squeeze behind and hook it up. there also was a small leak that they had to talk to through to fix it. I told my brother in law (who is a plumber) he should hire me! =) at that point dad and i were pooped and hungry dad took me to a cool mexican place right by a marina it had huge windows where you could see all the boats and the ocean. we came back and started unloadin the boxes. next thing we know its 2:00 a.m. dad stayed the next day too helping me get things situated & things hung on my wall. My dad is amazing I don't know what I'd do without him. he's always the first to give advice and help and wont let you turn it down. I am so greatful for him and the time that we got to spend together. it isn't very often me and dad get to go on a trip together, too bad it wasn't much more than moving but I still enjoyed it and being with him! Love you dad! Well dad left and I got pretty much everything put away and cleaned up. Randan is in Japan now turning in his gear and cleaning up to come home. He comes home on the 23. However they have to be out of the barracks on the 20 so they have to spend 2 nights at the airport =( the countdown is finally ending tho we countin down days instead of months!

trip to Cali to find our home!

So this weekend me and my parents went to Cali to find Randan and I our apartment. I know, my parents are amazing!! We left early morning and got there around 2:00. we went and looked at 3 apartments. then went to dinner and then to the beach! The beach is beautiful!! Friday we went and looked at 4 more. Went job searching but with no luck we went to dinner and then the beach. Saturday I had to decide and make a choice. it wasn't easy, especially without Randan! but on saturday we went and signed paperwork!! Our new apartment is so cute, so little but so cute! I can't wait to start my new life with Randan in Cali. Newly married, new state, new traffic, new job (hopefully soon) new new new!! ha ha what an adventure! In 2-3 weeks i'll move in and wait for that man of mine to get home!! Here's some picuters of the modle of our apartment and our trip!!

so i'm late but i still have to shout out and brag how sweet and adorable my new litle niece is! Macee Kay Staheli. Meag had Macee June 22,2009. after work i hung out with mom and dad then around nine fifteen we went to the hospital and at 10 meag had her!! she was 8.2 and 20.5 long with lots of brown hair! Way to go sis!! i look up to Meag so much she has always tried to be my 2nd mom and all the practice has payed off. She is such a good mom. a toddler and a newborn and she acts like its nothing!! I love you sister!
Macee is such a good baby. I love going home and holding her. there's nothing better than holding a brand new baby! and i still haven't really heard her cry! Parker is such a cute big brother and loves his little sister so much. he always is giving her kisses and patting her! I couldn't be a prouder aunt!!! I love you guys!

Update on Randan

Well sadly to say i'm pretty much a loser. ha ha. Everyone keeps tellin me i need to update my blog but i don't have anything to update. ha! Things are going great tho! So i'm updating about Randan! For the past few weeks Randans just been in Japan at the base. They've been at the range and "spy rigging" which in lamen terms is hanging 30 or so feet from a helicopter from a tiny wire. YIKES!!! this next week he has rifle qualification and a PFT (physical fitness test) he's nervous because it will determine if he goes to Scout Sniper School when he gets back. I don't know why he's nervouse though he always gets perfect scores!! Mid June he goes to Austraila. where to told me there is no place for the helicopter to land or leave so they will be spy rigging in and out. He's crazy, he's so excited for it! although I think he's a little scared for it and thats not good if randans scared for something like that. ha ha. He'll be in Austraila for 3 weeks, 2 weeks of training and then 1 week of Liberty! then 2 weeks back to Japan and then...
yes, finally! HE COMES HOME!!!

Japan!

Well I finally got a few pictures out of Randan. He's doin great. So far he's been in Okinawa and Tiland ( however you spell them). He's done Cobra Gold which is a huge training in Tiland. they had a few days of liberty so him and a few of his friends went to the school and did some humanitarian stuff!! He's done Jungle Warfare Training and Jungle Survivor Training, where they ate goat and snake =P They traveled to Tiland by ship, and he hates the ship. I can't say I blame him as you can see in the picture they're in pretty tight corners, and there isn't a whole lot to do. This weekend he's going to the Philippines. We've got to talk about once a week, except for when he's on ship and then its about once a month. He's supposed to come home in August but it could be sooner depending on a few things and of course it could be later just because. ha! We're almost three months done and counting!!

Zions!!

For Biology I have to go to a National Park and do all this stuff on it. So I talked my family into going with me. Mom and Dad stayed the night friday and meag and parker met us here in St.George Saturday and we headed to Zions! We ate lunch there and then got out and walked around. Parker had a blast! he loved squishin the bugs and throwin rocks in the river with Grandpa! we didn't go on any hikes but just hung out up there for a bit. the weather was nice and it turned out to be a fun family outing! I have such an amazing family! Thanks guys for going with me!!

My Nephew!!

I just wanted to post some pictures of my Nephew!! He is constantly doing something to make the family laugh. Whether it be tellin one of his stories or doing something funny! He is such a boy!! I wish I lived in Enterprise so I could see him more! A couple weeks ago, out of the blue he said "I miss uncle Randan" "he's in "da pan" (Japan) huh mom" ha ha, i thought it was the cutest thing ever. then again i think everything he says and does is the cutest thing ever. I don't know what we did without him. I love bein "Aunt Kinny" and I love Parker!!

Snow Skiing!!

February 21 Fran (my mother-in-law) My mom and me went to Brian Head skiing!! Fran and I had both been wanting to go but didn't know each other wanted to go so we finally got together and went skiing, and invited my mom to come too! We had so much fun! The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for better skiing weather. We got there around 10:00 and skied all day till 4:15 taking a short break for lunch! We had so much fun we decided that it needed to be an annual skiing trip!! I took my camera but the battery was dead so no pictures for this post. =)

California/Deployment

After a wonderful Christmas break on Jan 4 Randan and I headed to California. We enjoyed the wonderful weather, the beach and all in all California. The next day we said our good byes and I drove home expecting to see him no sooner than 7 months. Then a few days later he called me saying they weren't leaving tell the next monday so friday after work I headed back down to California. Again we just had a wonderful weekend. I love California and can't wait to live there except for the part where I have to live so far from family and friends. Randan got to Japan Monday and is doing great. He will go to Japan, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, and possibly but not probably Afghanistan. And it is planned that he will be back in August, but knowing the Marine corp it will probably change. I'm love Randan so much and am so proud of all he is doing! I threatened that since I didn't get to tag along in the suitcase that he better send pictures, I'll try and post a few of them!!

OUR WEDDING DAY!

So here's all about our special day =) Randan didn't get here till Friday at 3:00 a.m. but he still was still at the heritage hall to decorate at 7:00! We got everything done went home got ready and drove to st.george to take our endowments out. We were both so nervous but it was such a great experience and such a good feeling. We had a lot of family there and I was so greatful to see everyone there! (Shel in this your considered family ha ha) Randan went back to Enterprise with his parents and me reece meag and grandma went and ate pizza then grandama and reece went home. Meag stayed in st.george with me. It was so much fun and i was so glad she did. We tried my dress on and stayed up pretty late talking. What a great sister I have, she's such an example to me and i don't know what i'd do without her. I didn't sleep very good so finaly at 5:45 I just woke up and started getting ready. I was ready by about 7:15 so I just kinda hung out ha ha... I met randan at the temple at 9:00 and then changed into my dress. The sealing was so neat and so much family was there to support us. We then took a million and one pictures and drove back to Enterprise for our lunchon. By the time that was over me and Randan were just ready for it to be over ha ha. But in a few hours we got ready and went over to the heritage hall. We took another million picutres and then the crowd started coming. We had a steady crowd the whole night! Me and Randan were/are so greatful for all those that came to support us. What great family/friends/neighbors/co-workers/ect/ect we have! We couldn't believe all those that came! We talked about how in the line when we say "Thanks for coming" we sincerly ment it. It truely was a special day!!

HONEYMOON!!

I'm posting things a bit backwards. We don't have our wedding pictures back yet but i figured i'd post a few honeymoon pictures. Sunday night we drove to San Clemente and stayed over. Monday morning we took care of a few things that needed to be done and then we boarded our cruise! Monday we just explored the curise and and then ate dinner. We were at a table with all the other honeymooners who were around our same age. So we had some fun dinner friends each night! The next day we got ready and rode on a boat from the ship to Catalina Island. There you had to be 25 to do just about anything so we rented a 2 person bike and rode it all over the island! It was so much fun. We made fun of it at first but i think we had more fun doing that than we would've anything else (i like to think anyway!) we ate dinner and visited the shops then went back to the ship. The next day we went to Ensanda and La Buffadora. We had so much fun barganing and looking at all the fun stuff. We went to the blow hole and We even ate an taco off the street!! The next day was fun day at see. They had a few fun things and we just relaxed on the ship! At nights they had great comedy shows and fun dancing type shows! We had such a great time!

Marathon!

October 4th was the St.George Marathon!! and Randan came home!! That morning we went over to wait at the finish line for my dad to come through. It was raining pretty hard luckily mom brought ponchos for everybody. Dad keeps telling us that he's getting older so he'll be coming in slower, but we all know different. Even with the rain and bad weather he still came in at 3:03:30!! just 4 minutes short of his best time! He will probably be 85 and still coming under 3 hours. My dad is amazing and such an example to the whole family!

Bridal Shower

My Bridal shower was on the 27th of September. My Grandma Grandpa Aunt and cousin came down the night before, and i finally got my dress. It was so great to see them and so nice of them to bring my dress. Saturday i drove to enterprise from St.George becuase there wasn't a bed for me at my mom's house. We finished cutting up all the fruit and then went over to the church. It was such a great turn out, and was wonderful to see and visit with all my friends and family. Everybody out did themselves and i got spoiled rotten =) I got my dishes and silverwear, a kitchen aid, bathroom stuff kitchen stuff, a kitchen aid, mom made the cutest quilt ever, andlots and lots of house decorations. I had such a good time. I've already got most my stuff set up and put away in my new place!!!

My New Job!!

This is for you Meag!! Well I just started a new job. I'm working at Richens Eye Center. I've been scribing for Dr.Gibb and just learning how to "work up the patients." Which I have loved. Dr. Gibb is a great guy and i've enjoyed scribeing fore him. There is a lot to learn but I'm starting to catch on. Well today there was a 4th doctor in the office and Dr. Richens didn't have a scribe. So I was it! Dr.Richens and Dr.Gibb are both great doctors just very different. She is very presistant to how she likes things done (which isn't bad, i respect it) however Dr.Gibb is very patient with me. It was a very different day today. I don't think i took a breath all morning for fear i would mess something up and look like an idiot in front of Dr.Richens. which you all know me is pretty impossible not to do. =) I'm just a spaz!!! I am still learning lots and love working there!!

Horse Ride with family and family to be!!

Randan came home for labor
day so on saturday Me, Randan, my parents, and Randans parents all went on a horse ride. We went up holts canyon. It was so much fun. Mom loved it, and was happy to see dad on a horse. It was great to all get together!!

We're Getting Married

We're getting married on November 8, 2008!!!

We've known each other since Elementry school and fell in love just before he joined the marines (perfect timeing i know) He's stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA. Its hard but we make it work. I get to see him on weekends and we make the best of it. We're busy making wedding plans and waiting anxiously for the big day to get here!
